The electric SUV coupe will be available in two performance versions, Endurance and EV.

When the new automaker Cupra presented the vision of their future innovations last year, few expected that the Tavascan model would represent such a nearly finished vehicle.

Cupra has revealed their second electric car in their portfolio, precisely the production version of the Tavascan, and despite being a series model, it looks more like a concept. This exceptionally attractive SUV coupe, with its daring and highly imaginative design, captivates with its striking LED lights featuring triangular graphics on both ends and illuminated logos.

The visual experience is complemented by an attractive color configuration of the interior, featuring a palette of Soul Black, Dark Night, and Enceladus Grey Metallic shades.

In front of the driver, there are 5.3″ digital gauges, while the center of the dashboard houses a 15″ display with a new HMI (Human Machine Interface) and very slim ventilation vents below it. The entire cockpit is enhanced by abundant mood lighting. The luggage compartment has a capacity of 540 liters.

As Tavascan is a technical relative of other models within the group, it is based on the MEB platform. However, in line with the Cupra brand’s tradition, Tavascan represents the most sport-oriented electric vehicle in the family. There will be two performance versions available, with the base version offering up to 210 kW solely from a rear electric motor. The more powerful VZ version adds an additional 80 kW front electric motor, bringing the total power output to 250 kW.

Endurance – single electric motor, 210 kW/286 horsepower and 545 Nm of torque, with a range of 550 km. VZ – dual electric motors, 250 kW/340 horsepower, 134 Nm of torque at the front and 545 Nm at the rear, with a range of 520 km. The VZ variant is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds. In both cases, the battery has a usable capacity of 77 kWh, and the system supports charging at up to 135 kW. Charging the battery to 80 percent should take less than 30 minutes.
