The Genmoji feature will work based on user text prompts and will be available in the Messages app.

At the WWDC 2024 conference, Apple unveiled new operating systems for its devices, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, and watchOS 11. The most significant innovation is an artificial intelligence called Apple Intelligence, which will allow users to create their own emojis, reports svetapple.sk.

The Genmoji feature will function based on user text instructions and will be available in the Messages app. The AI will attempt to generate the most accurate visualization based on the input. Imagination is the only limit, and users can create almost anything with this new feature.

Apple Intelligence will enable more varied communication and more precise and easier expression through emojis. However, it will not be available to everyone, only to users with devices equipped with compatible hardware, including the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, or Apple Silicon M1, M2, M3, or M4 processors in Mac computers and iPads.
