In a surprising twist, Netflix is set to broaden its content lineup by including live broadcasts of NASA space missions.

Thanks to a newly forged partnership between Netflix and NASA, the United States space agency, viewers will soon be able to catch live streams from NASA+ right on the popular streaming platform.

Since its debut in November 2023, NASA+ has been showcasing rocket launches, space documentaries, and live feeds from the International Space Station. With this exciting collaboration, that same captivating content will now be accessible to an even wider global audience, as confirmed by NASA.

Audiences can look forward to live astronaut spacewalks, real-time mission updates, and stunning views of Earth from orbit. NASA+ will continue to function as a free, ad-free service, ensuring it remains available to all users independently.

While a specific launch date hasn’t been announced yet, Netflix and NASA are expected to share full details and a broadcast schedule just before the official rollout kicks off.
