The Camdom aims to prevent the misuse of intimate moments and protect potential victims from psychological harm.

Unprotected intimacy comes with risks beyond unintended pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections. Unfortunately, some individuals have faced the violation of having their private moments recorded without consent. Now, there is an app designed to prevent such breaches.

German condom brand Billy Boy has introduced the “Camdom,” a digital condom that blocks the ability to record video or audio on smartphones.

“Simply open the app before intimacy to protect your digital privacy,” the company advises, highlighting that using the security software is as straightforward as using a traditional condom. Through Bluetooth technology, users simply place their phones nearby and activate the security block. Should anyone attempt to record during an intimate moment, an alert sounds to notify users of the security breach. Additionally, Camdom can simultaneously block multiple devices in the vicinity.
