When moving from one place to another, Google Maps will offer you a route that minimizes emissions as the default option. The tech giant is now expanding this feature, and when navigating from point A to point B, new alternative travel options with lower emissions will be available. Google announced this on its website.
These new features are part of Google’s initiative to integrate more sustainable transportation solutions into its services. They are designed to make it easier for users to make more environmentally friendly decisions and help reduce the overall impact of transportation on the environment.
If you want to get from one end of the city to another, Google Maps will show you alternatives such as trains, buses, or other modes of transportation, with comparable travel times to driving.
Detailed information about long-distance connections in multiple countries will be available. Simply input a request for a specific train or bus connection, and the system will immediately provide detailed information, including departure and arrival times, ticket prices, and in some cases, the option to reserve tickets online.
