The International Construction Group HSF system, which is part of the Motiveya Group Investment Holding, has completed the first warehouse facility within the Logspot Logtech Logistics Complex in Slovenia.
The project is about € 20 million, an important milestone in the permanent industrial development of the region.
Despite challenging geological and seismic conditions, the project was completed before the schedule. The investor behind development is the real estate company Atrios.
The purview of the project not only included construction of logistics hall, but also implemented infrastructure and technology in a total area of 54,199 square meters. The full phase includes 26,525 square meters of warehouse location, roads with 14,485 square meters of paved access, and 13,189 square meters of landscape green areas.
“The project is an important milestone for us,” said Tom Kosa, CEO of HSF system. “We have proved that we can provide high quality, reliable construction outside our domestic markets, including advanced technologies to suit ESG principles.”
Built in a Carst region, the site required widespread earthquakes and months of geological surveys to prepare the area. Additionally, the region is the most seismic active in Slovenia, demanding an extraordinary accurate approach to structural design and engineering.
The resulting logistics feature stands out for the first time to obtain very good certification to the reputed braim in Slovenia – its environmental and technical standards recognition. The building is equipped with electric vehicle charging stations, air-to-air heat pumps, and will soon feature solar array on a roof with integrated battery storage.
“This is the first project to carry our proprietary LOGspot logistics brand, and it represents a major step in expanding our footprint across the region,” said Michal Bubán, Managing Partner at Atrios. “We even completed the build two weeks ahead of schedule and have already handed over the space to our clients.”
