According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a highly regarded analyst specializing in Apple products, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to boast several exciting features. In a recent blog post, Kuo shared his predictions that the upcoming device will sport a larger screen and incorporate a periscope camera.

Kuo emphasized that the iPhone 16 Pro’s display will be slightly bigger compared to both the current iPhone 14 Pro and the soon-to-be-released iPhone 15 Pro. This expanded screen size will provide ample room for the inclusion of a periscope camera, which is known for its exceptional zoom capabilities. It is anticipated that the iPhone 16 series will be unveiled in 2024.

While periscope cameras have already been embraced by various Android manufacturers like Google and Samsung, they have yet to be integrated into an iPhone. Kuo expects both the iPhone 16 Pro and the larger iPhone 16 Pro Max to feature this advanced camera technology. Earlier this year, Kuo also expressed his belief that the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is set to debut this year, will include a periscope camera.

These insights from Kuo align with the observations of another industry analyst, Ross Young. Young recently took to Twitter to suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will receive larger screens. Responding to a user’s speculation that the iPhone 16 Pro’s display would increase from 6.1 to 6.4 inches, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s display from 6.7 to 6.9 inches, Young indicated that the estimations were close.

As the anticipation for the iPhone 16 Pro builds, industry analysts like Kuo and Young provide valuable insights into the potential features and specifications of Apple’s future flagship device.
