Singer Justin Timberlake has been charged with driving under the influence, reports BBC. The district attorney’s office stated that he was released without bail.

The popular singer was arrested shortly after midnight from Monday to Tuesday for failing to stop at a stop sign. According to the police, his eyes were “glassy and bloodshot,” and there was an odor of alcohol on his breath. CBS News reported that he refused to take a breathalyzer test, claiming he had only one drink.

The iconic artist has admitted in the past that he wants to seek professional help due to excessive drinking.
