Power Outage in Panama Disrupts Electricity and Water Supply

President Mulino said that the outage affected the water treatment facilities, and the supply would be slowly restored.

Panama is experiencing a large -scale power outage, which was triggered just before the local time due to damage to a private generator. According to the AFP, President Jose Raul Mulino confirmed the incident on Sunday and said that the officials are working to restore electricity at the feet.

Water supply was also affected

Officials said the blackout temporarily left the residents without access to drinking water, as disintegration affected local water treatment facilities.
