One of the most successful artists of the past decade will collaborate with the creative studio of the French fashion icon to design a collection.
Rapper Future will be designing a collection for the fashion house Lanvin as part of the new project called Lanvin Lab, which is an experimental extension of the brand. The project aims to foster numerous creative partnerships with renowned and talented artists from around the world, providing them with “space to dream and play” under the guidance of the Paris-based company. The upcoming collection is scheduled for release in autumn 2023, with music as its main theme.
Nayvadius DeMun Cash, who is nearing 40 years of age, will join the ranks of celebrities who have the opportunity to create fashion at the highest level.
“Future is a visionary whose artistic influence extends far beyond the boundaries of music and entertainment, resonating with broad layers of contemporary culture,” wrote the management of Lanvin in a statement. “The collaboration emerged organically as Future recently expressed genuine interest in Lanvin,” added Siddhartha Shukla, Deputy CEO, in an interview with WWD.
