Bordeau-based AI startup Geniel has gathered € 1.8 million in its first funding round to accelerate the development of AI-operated solutions for tourism and holiday areas.

The investment was led with Hattopia and Credit Agricol (through aquitine expansion and la runon-matote), in which founders were accompanied by additional support from a group of futures and business angels.

Driving development with moral and safe AI

Fabien Grosyeux and Erwan Simon co-installed in 2023, making AI-driven automation more accessible to sme and medium-sized businesses. The company’s technology is originally designed to integrate in existing systems, providing an AI-powered equipment for sales, marketing and customer relationships.

“Our primary objective is to speed up the development of genial by maintaining our commitment to sovereign and moral artificial intelligence. We have already reached a major milestone with 100 customers, and we are deeply inherent in the tourism industry, which currently accounts for 50% of our business, ”said co-founder Irwan Simon.

He emphasized that genial is committed to customized and safe AI assistants that support employees instead of replacing them.

Innovative AI solution for businesses

AI platform of Genial increases operating efficiency by automating time -taking tasks. For example, its equipment helps employees to conduct quotation, draft presentations, and market research – to work for seven hours per week.

One of the company’s most notable projects is ‘Marien’, which has developed for AI Travel Assistant France. Launched during the 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games, Marienne provided users to provide individual travel journey programs via France.FR platform.

Additionally, Genial is working on ICIA, AI.
