Users can now generate up to 20-second videos tailored to their preferences.
Artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly integral part of our lives, often used to streamline content creation. Earlier this year, OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, introduced Sora, a model capable of generating video content.
Now, the upgraded Sora Turbo takes things further, enabling the creation of short videos ranging from 5 to 20 seconds based on input such as images or storyboards. Users can customize elements, remix clips, combine videos, or provide text prompts for AI-generated content.
Currently, Sora is available exclusively to ChatGPT Plus users. However, in the European Union, the model remains inaccessible due to regulatory issues, as reported by SMARTMANIE. Some users bypass this restriction with VPN settings. The time required to generate videos depends on their length and quality. While certain aspects, like motion and object interactions, can still be imperfect, the results are already remarkably convincing.
To ensure transparency, all videos created by Sora Turbo include C2PA metadata and a watermark, making the origin of the content identifiable. Furthermore, OpenAI has developed a verification tool to confirm if a video was generated by its AI. According to Vo Svete IT, this tool addresses concerns over the potential for manipulated or misleading content.
