Due to health issues affecting lead singer Steven Tyler, Aerosmith has decided to end their touring career.
On Friday, August 2nd, Aerosmith announced the early termination of their “Peace Out: The Farewell Tour” and confirmed they will no longer be performing live. The band shared this news on Instagram, explaining that 76-year-old Tyler’s health issues prevent him from delivering performances as he once did.
“We’ve always aimed to amaze you with our shows. As you know, Steven’s voice is a unique instrument. He has spent months tirelessly working to restore his voice to its former strength after an injury. Despite having the best medical team by his side, we’ve witnessed his struggles. Unfortunately, it’s clear that a full recovery from his vocal cord injury is not possible,” the band explained.
