American Rapper Dies on His 39th Birthday

Police confirmed that he did not die due to a gun bullet wound.

Rapper Young Scooter (Real Name Kenneth Edward Bailey) died on Friday, 28 March on his 39th birthday. According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution and local police, the incident occurred at a residence in Atlanta, where officials responded to a dispute report that included a gun.

As the police attempted to enter the house, one person closed the door behind him, while two others tried to escape through the back, reporting the Billboard. The young scooter allegedly jumped from two fences during his escape, injuring his leg. The officials found him to the other side and immediately rushed him to the Gradi Marcus Trauma Center, where he was later declared dead.

During a press conference, Lieutenant Andrew Smith dismissed the rumors that the young scooter was killed by a gun shot by the police. The news of his passing sent Shockwaves through the music industry. Playboi Carti shared a heartbreaking update with caption “SMFH” on Instagram, while Quavo posted a broken heart emoji and prayed on the hand.

Young scooters got up for fame with their hit Colombia in 2012 and went to cooperate with stars such as the future, young thugs and Migos. In 2018, he made it at Billboard Hot 100 with Jet Lag.
