This week, Apple is set to release iOS 18.1, featuring new AI capabilities.

To mark the launch of Apple Intelligence, the tech giant has announced a reward of up to $1 million for anyone able to discover and report vulnerabilities within its Private Cloud Compute, an AI cloud designed for secure data processing.

On its security page (security.apple), Apple offers substantial rewards for hackers and researchers who identify and report bugs or vulnerabilities that might compromise users’ sensitive information. These financial rewards range from $500 to $2 million, depending on the severity, level of access, and quality of the report. Confident in its security, Apple highlights that the AI cloud is powered by proprietary servers and its PCC operating system, which Apple claims is “the most advanced security architecture ever deployed for large-scale AI cloud computing.”
