The car blends racing functionality and lightweight design with iconic aesthetics.
Aston Martin has introduced a new model – the Valiant. This exclusive car from a special edition is designed for both racing circuits and regular road use. Inspired by Aston Martin Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso and his custom order, the Valiant combines performance and style, according to Hypebeast.
The Valiant is powered by a 5.2-liter Twin-Turbo V12 engine producing 734 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Its chassis features Multimatic ASV dampers and recalibrated electronics for a smoother ride.
The 21-inch wheels are equipped with aero discs to enhance aerodynamics. The design is inspired by the Aston RHAM/1, which raced at Le Mans in the late 70s.
Aston Martin describes this sports car as “relentlessly striking.” The all-carbon fiber body is engineered for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, reduced weight, and increased downforce. The lightweight interior is minimalist, focusing on driver engagement and seamless connection with the car.
Its aggressive front splitter and rear wing are also influenced by 70s design. The Valiant will make its public debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Fernando Alonso will demonstrate its capabilities.
Production will be limited to just 38 units worldwide. Motor1 describes the new Valiant as Aston Martin’s version of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, essentially a reimagined, sportier variant of the Valour, prioritizing performance over comfort.
