The singer, whose real name was Seth Binzer, was found in his Los Angeles home a few days ago, according to Kerrang! Newsweek reported that Shellshock died on Monday, June 24. The cause of death is unknown.

With his band Crazy Town, he achieved his greatest success with the hit “Butterfly,” which made it onto the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band released an album in 2002 but disbanded shortly after. However, they reunited and released “The Brimstone Sluggers” in 2015.

The singer struggled with drug addiction for many years. He appeared on the shows “Celebrity Rehab” and “Sober House.” He also had legal troubles due to cocaine and received probation in 2012 for assault and drug possession. He was the father of three sons.
