
Beyoncé emerged as one of the biggest stars at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, securing three wins out of her 11 nominations.
She claimed awards for Best Country Album and Best Country Group Performance alongside Miley Cyrus.
The highlight of the evening was her long-awaited victory in the Album of the Year category for Cowboy Carter, marking her first win in this prestigious category. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s track Not Like Us won both Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
Despite holding the record for the most nominations (99) and wins (35) in Grammy history, Beyoncé had never won Album of the Year until now, succeeding on her fifth attempt. She becomes only the fourth Black woman to achieve this honor, following Lauryn Hill, Natalie Cole, and Whitney Houston.
Chappell Roan was crowned Best New Artist, completing the “Big Four” categories alongside Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.
Other notable winners included Sabrina Carpenter, who took home awards for Best Pop Vocal Album (Short n’ Sweet) and Best Pop Solo Performance (Espresso). Doechii won Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal, Chris Brown earned Best R&B Album for 11:11 (Deluxe), and Charli XCX secured Best Dance/Electronic Album for BRAT.
