BMW continues to push the boundaries of electric mobility with the launch of its redesigned BMW iX, a vehicle that seamlessly blends luxury, high performance, and cutting-edge technology.

Built from the ground up as an electric vehicle, this Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) — BMW’s alternative term for the traditional SUV — utilizes a new modular platform optimized for electric powertrains.

Each version of the BMW iX features dual electric motors and all-wheel drive. The top-tier BMW iX M70 delivers a staggering 485 kW (659 hp), 1,100 Nm of torque, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

The base iX xDrive45 model boasts 408 hp, while the upgraded iX xDrive60 produces 544 hp. Every variant now offers additional power, ensuring that the iX commands attention at every intersection, regardless of its badge.

BMW has incorporated advanced battery cell technology that increases energy density by approximately 30%. Energy efficiency from the high-voltage battery to the electric motors has also been improved. As a result, the base iX xDrive45 now delivers a 40% longer range, reaching up to 600 km. The mid-range iX xDrive60 impresses with up to 701 km of range, while the performance-focused iX M70 xDrive achieves 600 km — all measured under WLTP standards.
