The company’s director stated that he is confident about the release date.

The highly anticipated game GTA VI from Rockstar Games now has an official release date. It is now scheduled for release in fall 2025. This announcement was made by Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, in an interview with ign.com. Take-Two Interactive owns the developer of the legendary Grand Theft Auto series.

There were rumors that due to various issues, the game’s release might be delayed until 2026. However, the creators have now clarified that the sixth installment of GTA will be playable next fall. “We are truly confident that GTA 6 will be released in fall 2025,” said the CEO of Take-Two in the interview with ign.com.



Trailer enters Guinness World Records

The official trailer for the game was released on YouTube on December 5, 2023. The trailer attracted a record-breaking number of viewers, becoming the most-watched video game trailer within 24 hours. In two days, the video garnered 105 million views. In comparison, the trailer for GTA V was viewed by 100 million people over 12 years.

The story of the new game is set in Vice City, a fictional city in the state of Leonidas. Previously, we reported that fans believe the creators drew inspiration from Miami and designed Vice City based on the characteristics of that city.
