The story takes players back to the early 20th century.

The trailer for the highly anticipated fourth installment of the legendary Mafia series was unveiled at The Game Awards 2024. Earlier, we covered the reveal of Witcher IV, showcased at the same prestigious event. Now, we bring you Mafia IV, a game that revisits the fictional town of San Celeste, first introduced in Mafia II.

Titled Mafia: The Old Country, the game is set in Sicily and transports players to the pre-war era of the early 1900s. To add authenticity, the game will feature voiceovers in the Sicilian language. “All the men in this room are bound by blood. This is family,” declares the opening line of the nearly two-minute trailer. The clip then immerses viewers in the tension, conflicts, and power struggles of the Italian mafia.

The developers also revealed that the game is slated for release in the summer of next year.
