You’ll be able to customize your home screen more efficiently and adjust the position and color of your icons.

Apple product owners can now install the new iOS 18. Simply go to Settings, select General, and find the new operating system update.

While AI was expected to be the biggest new feature, it won’t be included in this first release. It’s predicted to launch in the U.S. by 2025. When or if it will be available in other regions is still uncertain, as Apple is set to discuss its AI (Apple Intelligence) with the European Union.

If you update to iOS 18, you’ll notice a redesigned control panel for toggling data and Wi-Fi. While the layout has changed, the update allows you to customize the panel to include only the tools you actually use.

You can also optimize your home screen to better match your wallpaper by adjusting the color and appearance of icons. Additionally, you can now move icons freely across the screen, which wasn’t possible before. The Photos app has also undergone a major overhaul, both in design and functionality. A new feature called Collections organizes photos based on themes, locations, or people.
