Did the star rapper and artist introduce a new fashion trend?

At the debut AWGE show founded by A$AP Rocky, high-end champagne flowed freely during Paris Fashion Week, with celebrities like his partner Rihanna gracing the front row.

A$AP Rocky, the leading figure of A$AP Mob with over 35 million monthly listeners on Spotify, has always been known for his love of fashion. After several collaborations with renowned brands, he has finally launched his own ready-to-wear line for the Spring/Summer 2025 season.

The 30 silhouettes, designed by Rocky in collaboration with Joshua Jamal, Bede Marchand, and Coucou Bebe, were complemented by footwear from Puma. This continues the partnership between the New York artist and the apparel company, following the release of a motorsport-inspired capsule collection a few months ago.

In addition to the Puma Inhale 12 model, the Paris runway showcased unique footwear styles once worn by Michael Schumacher and other F1 drivers in the early 2000s. The highlight for photographers was the Speedcat OG in Ferrari team colors (red with white and black), set to be available this month, according to Klekt. The futuristic purple model, The Mostro 3.D, will be released in September.

It seems the Y2K fashion trend has seamlessly evolved into chunky, padded skate shoes with thin soles, naturally fitting into the asphalt circuits of the motorsport world. We are eager to see how prominent influencers will incorporate them into their everyday outfits.
