According to the organizers of the campaign, the discovery of two missing Nepali climbers has been officially discontinued.

On the tenth highest mountain in the world, earlier this week, an avalanche was swept away by an avalanche. Two helicopters and five -member search teams were deployed in the rescue operation. However, after five days with no sign of life, local authorities concluded that survival is no longer possible given the harsh conditions at such a high altitude.

Annapurna stands at 8,091 m (26,545 ft), its excessive difficulty and notorious for high deadly rates – even more than Mount Everest. Two veteran mountain guides were transporting oxygen cylinders in preparation for the latter summit attempt when the avalanche was hit on Monday.

Nepal is a house of eight of the ten highest peaks in the world and attracts hundreds of climbers in each spring, when the temperature is hot and the winds usually calm down. This season, approximately 500 climbing permits have been issued, including 66 for Annapurna. Avalanche is a common danger in the Himalayan region, especially during the winter season, as noted by the AFP.
