Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, who is a father to twelve children, has recently spoken out about his regrets regarding his child’s gender transition.

His daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, now 20 years old, was previously known as Xavier. Musk had signed the necessary documents for her to change her identity, a decision he now regrets. He shared his thoughts on this matter during a podcast with Jordan B. Peterson, hosted by Daily Wire.

“Essentially, I was misled into signing those papers for one of my older sons, Xavier,” Musk said, referring to his child by their former name. “This all happened before I fully understood what was going on. At the time, we were dealing with the chaos of COVID, and I was told that Xavier might commit suicide,” he explained, elaborating on the circumstances that led him to support the transition.

In the interview, Musk also questioned the concept of gender dysphoria, a condition of psychological distress due to a mismatch between one’s gender identity and assigned sex. “It’s incredibly harmful, and I agree with you that the people who promote this should be jailed,” Musk concurred with Peterson.

Musk’s comments reflect his evolving perspective on the issue and highlight his belief that the promotion of gender transition, particularly among minors, warrants legal action.
