Fans of sci-fi and horror films can look forward to a new movie release this year titled Alien: Romulus.

The cult classic Alien from the 70s is getting a new sequel. Earlier this year, the production hinted at something big with a short teaser. On Tuesday, the official trailer for the new sequel, titled Alien: Romulus, was released.

The film is directed by Fede Alvarez, known for popular movies like Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe. The trailer is terrifying and suggests that the story will take place in space. “In space, no one can hear you,” the trailer teases. It also hints that the film will premiere this summer. Back in 2022, we informed you that production was working on a new Alien movie. The film will focus on a group of young people colonizing space, who end up in a confrontation with aliens. Filming began in February 2023, and the movie will hit theaters this summer.
