Tractor accident in Germany leaves 15 injured, including three seriously hurt

Approximately 15 people were injured in a tractor accident on Sunday afternoon in Bavaria, a state in southern Germany. Among the injured, three individuals sustained serious injuries, according to local police reports.

The accident occurred in the village of Hartenstein, near the city of Nuremberg, when a tractor with a trailer overturned. The 29-year-old driver of the tractor and his 26-year-old passenger were both seriously injured, with the passenger in critical condition.

An 18-year-old woman, who was riding in the trailer along with 12 other people, also suffered severe injuries. The remaining passengers in the trailer sustained only minor injuries, but 10 of them were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

According to a police spokesperson, the tractor was traveling on an unpaved road on its way to a church fair when it overturned on a bend. A large number of firefighters, police officers, and paramedics were involved in the rescue operation. The three critically injured individuals were airlifted to nearby hospitals. Authorities are currently investigating the cause and circumstances surrounding the accident.
