One of the show’s central love triangle characters is officially getting away.

Netflix’s hit series in Paris Emily is growing with a major shake-up in season 5: the chemilli will not return. According to Variety, actress Kemili Razat has exited the show and will not appear in the upcoming season.

Since the beginning, the complicated love between the chemical Emily and Gabriel has been an important person in the triangle. While the creator of the series Darren Star has said that the chemilli will always be part of Emily in the Paris universe, he first indicated that his role would develop. Now, that development means a complete departure.

As Emily is included in a new chapter in Rome, where she is starting the Italian branch of Agnes Gratoos, fans would have to say goodbye to a character, which played an important role in the emotional dynamics of the series.

The plot details for season 5 tightly wrapped. What is known that the new season lifts up a few days after the end of season 4, Emily lives in her stylish Roman apartment and steps into her new professional role in Italy.
