The re -designed Shrek has long instigated backlash among fans.

Yesterday, we told that Zendya has joined the upcoming Shrek film, which gives her voice to Shrek’s daughter, Felisia. Along with revealing the voice cast of the film, the creators also released a small teaser – which has since lightened the controversy on social media. Many fans are updated up to Shrek.

Micro design changes have occurred in the characters, making them look different from the previous installments. Franchise fans are particularly angry about how Shrek is re -added. Additionally, the teaser includes modern elements, such as social media uses, in which further audiences are divided. Many people argue that incorporating contemporary technology seems to be out of place in a story that was never in modern times.

With many disappointment on the new direction of the film, the debate on social media quickly flew away. A user expressed Bhavna: “It bothers me when animated movies in social media, iPhones, and selfies seem only modern. It takes me out of experience completely.”
