First look at the Peaky Blinders feature film

Netflix has shared the first images from the upcoming film and confirmed the start of production.

Cillian Murphy and creator Steven Knight have reunited on set to officially begin filming the much-anticipated Peaky Blinders movie. The news was shared on social media platform X by Netflix, along with a photo of Murphy’s character.

The film will serve as a continuation of the six-season saga, which is set between 1919 and 1934 in central England. Director Tom Harper, who will helm the project, reflected on his return: “When I first directed Peaky Blinders over 10 years ago, we didn’t know what it would become, but we knew there was something special in the chemistry of the cast and the script.”


In addition to Cillian Murphy, the film will star Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, and Tim Roth.
