Kid Cudi joins Adam Sandler in happy gilmore 2

Nearly 30 years after its release, the beloved film Happy Gilmore is getting a sequel, promising an exciting lineup of stars.

In Happy Gilmore 2, Kid Cudi, known for his roles in Don’t Look Up and Silent Night, joins the cast alongside Sandler. This exciting casting update was first shared by Deadline. Additional cameos include NFL star Travis Kelce and musician Bad Bunny.

The original Happy Gilmore, released in 1996, follows the story of a hot-tempered hockey player who switches to golf to save his grandmother’s home. Scott Mescudi, aka Kid Cudi, has shared his excitement, calling the role a “dream come true” as a longtime fan of Sandler.


“Working with Adam has been a lifelong dream. He’s my favorite, and his comedies defined my childhood,” Cudi wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post.
