After Liam Hemsworth replaced Henry Cavill in the lead role, he faced a wave of criticism. Fans are not impressed with the actor, calling him a “budget Thor.”

Netflix has released the trailer for the fourth season of The Witcher, featuring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt, a role previously played by Henry Cavill in the first three seasons. The streaming giant announced the news on its X profile. “Not gonna lie, he doesn’t look bad as Geralt, but I won’t be watching lol. Henry Cavill did it better,” one user commented. Others compared Liam to his older brother Chris, calling him a “budget Thor.”

Even the return of Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan as Yennefer and Ciri, respectively, won’t save the series, according to viewers. “The show is already lost, ruined by terrible plots and incompetent writers,” one fan admitted on social media. Netflix has not yet announced the exact premiere date for the season, but according to Gamingbible.com, it is expected next year.

Fans are not thrilled with the new casting

“The journey continues. Here’s a first look at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher,” Netflix wrote in the post. Although the video is less than a minute long, it was enough to upset fans. Some viewers are complaining that the new Geralt doesn’t fit their expectations.
