Directed by Chava Cartas, this follows the Mexican Action Thriller Captain Gurro (Luis Alberti) and his elite unit, Mercelagos. After a courageous rescue mission, they find themselves targeted by powerful L Enzambre Cartel, whose prominent members he captured. It ignites a cruel war, deep in the incomplete Mexican forest to the Gurro’s team in an indispensable ambush. There is no way, their only option is to fight till the last pill.
While the counterstar does not break the new land in storytelling, fans admire its tireless action, the intensity of adrenaline-fuel, and unexpected twists that place the audience on the edge to the very end. Like many Mexican Productions, the film attained a raw and unfundled illustration of rigid realities, adding its authenticity.
For fans of Narcos: Mexico and L. Chapo, provides a fresh perspective by focusing on the elite forces struggling with the counterstreed cartel. Released on Netflix on 28 February, the film has dominated the top chart of the platform in more than 40 countries.
