Sony has been actively porting its biggest titles to PC, and the Japanese gaming giant recently announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will arrive on PC in January.
Despite introducing only minor innovations over the first installment, the game has already captured fans’ hearts. The original set a high bar, delivering an exhilarating web-swinging experience through New York and dynamic combat that made every villain encounter memorable. Alongside the announcement, Sony confirmed there will be no additional content released for the game—a likely decision as Insomniac Games is currently focused on developing a new title featuring another comic book hero, Wolverine. According to the official PlayStation blog, the PC version will feature enhanced graphics, ultra-wide resolution support, and full compatibility with keyboard and mouse.
The game will be available in two editions for PC: the Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Standard edition includes the base game along with all content released post-launch on PlayStation 5. The Digital Deluxe edition adds exclusive suits for Peter Parker and Miles Morales, experience points, and additional bonuses. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to launch on PC on January 30, 2025.
