The best and highest-grossing film of the year, Dune: Part Two, will be available on a streaming service starting tomorrow.
Until now, the movie was only offered on platforms where users could watch or purchase it for a one-time fee. However, this will change on May 21.
Dune: Part Two will be available on the new service Max, which launched today, May 21, replacing the existing HBO Max platform. The film will be available in Slovakia on the same day, with expected 4K quality and support for both Czech and Slovak dubbing. Warner Bros. Discovery is introducing its new platform Max in grand style.
In the second part, Paul Atreides teams up with Chani and the Fremen, embarking on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. He faces a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, attempting to prevent a dreadful future only he can foresee.
Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) has joined the Fremen, among whom lives his muse Chani (Zendaya). The chosen one begins to weave a plan of revenge against the conspirators responsible for the destruction of his entire house and especially his family. Additionally, Paul faces a significant dilemma, having to choose between the love of his life and the fate of the universe. Only he can foresee the terrible fate hanging over the future.
Nothing Better This Year
Dune: Part Two premiered in theaters in March this year and was a massive hit with audiences. Even before its release, the film received enthusiastic reviews from critics, which were quickly confirmed by fans. Dennis Villeneuve’s film has maintained exceptionally high ratings and is one of the best-received new films in recent years.
With earnings of $711 million, Dune: Part Two is also the highest-grossing film of 2024 so far.
