In the second film, Venom’s identity was revealed, and now in the third, he’s on the run.
The next chapter of the popular Marvel series, Venom, hits theaters on October 24th. Titled The Last Dance, it marks the final part of the trilogy. The film opens with a recap of key moments from the previous installments, making it accessible even to those who haven’t seen the earlier films. The creators promise plenty of action and humor.
Tom Hardy returns as the lead, playing a former reporter bonded with the alien symbiote, Venom. The film’s director has promised that the third movie will stand out with intense action, starting with Venom’s escape.
After his identity is exposed, Venom is hunted by both the police and vicious beasts. “After the first film, we knew the second had to be even bigger. With the third, everything is even crazier. But we’ve also leaned more into the comedic and action aspects,” the creators said in a press release.
In addition to stunning visuals, audiences can expect a fantastic soundtrack, featuring hits from iconic bands like Abba and Queen. Venom has long been a fan-favorite in the Marvel universe, and the success of the first two films, which grossed over $1.3 billion (€1.1 billion), is proof of its enduring popularity.
