Dana White, the president of the world’s largest mixed martial arts organization, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), revealed in a video interview with TMZSports that Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk are seriously considering a joint MMA match.
According to White, he has spoken to both of them and they are willing to go for it. “It would be the biggest fight in history,” White couldn’t hide his excitement. He doesn’t mind that they are not professional fighters; everyone would simply want to witness this bout, which would undoubtedly result in astronomical earnings.
“It would break all pay-per-view records. These guys would earn hundreds of millions of dollars for charity,” said the UFC boss. Allegedly, the potential earnings would even surpass the current record set by Conor McGregor’s boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, according to White.
The billionaires had a dispute on social media, which culminated in a tweet from Elon Musk. He challenged the founder of Facebook to a cage fight. He didn’t have to wait long for Zuckerberg’s response, as he wrote briefly on Instagram, “Send me the location.”
As we mentioned in this article, the CEO of Tesla stated on Joe Rogan’s podcast that before becoming one of the most successful entrepreneurs in history, he trained in taekwondo, karate, judo, and briefly in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Zuckerberg has been training in MMA for some time now and has even earned praise from three UFC champions: Conor McGregor, Aljamain Sterling, and Alexander Volkanovski.
