Marvel unveils trailer for new film Thunderbolts

The upcoming Marvel film will feature the return of Black Widow’s adoptive sister, father, and Bucky Barnes.

Today, Marvel Studios released the first teaser and poster for the highly anticipated film Thunderbolts. This new project promises an unconventional team story, where Black Widow’s sister and assassin, Yelena Belova (played by Florence Pugh), joins forces with an unexpected lineup of characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film will see the return of familiar faces such as Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Fans can also look forward to several new characters that will further enrich the storyline.


Jake Schreier is set to direct, with Scarlett Johansson serving as an executive producer.

Thunderbolts is slated for release in U.S. theaters on May 2, 2025.
