As Mickey repeatedly dies and is replaced by a new version with retained memories, he begins to question his own worth.

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the upcoming sci-fi film Mickey 17, starring Robert Pattinson, best known for his role in the Twilight saga. The film follows Mickey, a “disposable employee” tasked with assisting in the colonization of a distant planet.

Throughout the story, Mickey dies multiple times and is continuously replaced by a cloned version that retains all his previous memories. However, as the cycle repeats, he starts to realize his true value, and the nature of his work becomes increasingly unsettling.

The film is based on the novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton and is directed by acclaimed Oscar-winning filmmaker Bong Joon-ho, renowned for his work on Parasite. This isn’t the first glimpse of the film—Warner Bros. previously released a teaser in September last year.
