HBO plans to retain the original cast for the new season.

The beloved HBO series Euphoria is slated to begin filming in January 2025, as confirmed by the network’s Vice President of Programming and Head of HBO Series and Movies, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

We couldn’t be happier with our creative partnership with Sam and this incredible cast. We are excited to bring a new season of Euphoria to life for the fans,” she stated.

While the exact release date for the new season remains uncertain, it is highly unlikely that it will air before the end of 2025, marking nearly four years since the release of the second season.

The creators intend to keep the main cast intact. However, they have indicated that there will be a time jump between the second and third seasons, suggesting that the upcoming episodes might not be set in a high school setting.
