Thieves targeted football stars’ home: world’s most popular female footballer loses luxuries worth half a million euros

Alisha Lehmann and her boyfriend, Douglas Luiz, were robbed in their home in Turin.

The well-known football couple, Alisha Lehmann and Douglas Luiz, fell victim to a burglary at their residence in Turin. The thieves broke into their house while Luiz was playing for Juventus against Lazio, and Alisha Lehmann, titled “the most popular female footballer,” was with her team at a hotel preparing for a match against Inter Milan.

According to OneFootball, the thieves stole valuables worth over $540,000 (around €500,000), including 11 luxury watches and diamond jewelry. The robbery likely took place overnight, as the police arrived immediately after the alarm was triggered at around 1:30 a.m.

Swiss footballer Alisha Lehmann is considered the most famous player in women’s football, with the largest social media following among her peers. The 25-year-old forward has nearly 17 million followers on Instagram alone. Luiz and Lehmann have been a couple since their time together at Aston Villa and both later moved to Juventus, where they continue to play today.
