The acclaimed actor takes on two roles in the upcoming movie, set to hit theaters on April 17.
Michael B. Jordan plays dual roles as two brothers who face a terrifying conflict with vampires. The story follows their return to their hometown, where they seek a fresh start after a troubled past. However, they soon find themselves battling a dark and deadly force.
“If you dance with the devil, one day you’ll bring him home,” warns a chilling voice in the trailer. Not long after, chaos erupts as vampires descend upon the town, clashing with desperate residents fighting to survive.
The film boasts an impressive cast beyond Jordan. Jack O’Connell, known for his role in Skins, also stars, alongside Hailee Steinfeld, who portrays one of the vampires. Directed by Ryan Coogler, best known for his work on the Black Panther franchise, the film marks his first foray into the horror genre.
“It was my first time fully experimenting with this genre, and I absolutely fell in love with it,” Coogler shared. “Horror is fascinating because it appeals to a wide audience of film lovers, but it’s also a genre often associated with some of the greatest artistic works.”
